Ok…I’ve been harranging Renee lately in an attempt to get her to start blogging again. I upgraded the WordPress install this morning…the new version makes it super easy to upload photos. I even installed a fancy new look.

Tonight I’ll teach her how to use the new upload feature. Hopefully after seeing that she’ll get the blogging bug again.

thebuchanans.net is now powered by the latest version of the greatest thing on the net - WordPress. One of the best features in the new version is post-level image galleries, with a simplified upload procedure and auto-thumbnailing. This will make it much simpler for Renee to put pictures on the site…and should encourage her to do so more often.

I placed a summer-inspired gallery into this post to show off this new feature. (we’ve had two snow storms in Toledo since the official begining of spring, so we’re a longing a bit for summer weather right now)

Sure, it’s the title of one of the greatest rock-n-roll albums ever, but it’s also a good principle of website design. Everyone has told me to ditch the front page to the site, so I have.
